I am a native Californian, daughter of a Big Sur native and a modern art gallery owner of the 1940s. Why is this important enough to mention? Because I feel tied to this extensive and beautiful coast which we are so lucky to all home; and because of the abstract and explorative figure art which I grew up surrounded with. These are the inspirations which led me to paint.
