About The Artist
I am a mostly self-taught plein air and studio painter. I draw inspiration from fauvist, impressionist and traditional styles to inform my own [sometimes] playful and inquisitive take on the natural world. Occasionally, my interpretations lead me into unusual painting/design "territory" and I don't know what will take place. Painting outside is a wonderful experience, but I often finish in the studio.
