About The Artist
I have done about thirty mushroom paintings--so many shapes and colors and so many backgrounds: on a tree, in a field, on a pedestal, under a desk. The idea to put a chanterelle in a Van Gogh sunflower vase just came to me one day a few years ago. It still makes me smile when I look at it.
